About Us
- We are the Fighting Unicorns programming team! We currently have 7 students and 2 mentors. We program in Java using Visual Studio Code as our Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Our subteam prides itself on our complex autonomous routines that consistently earn us many points. We strive to get better, even throughout the offseason, by continually holding regular meetings. We’re such a close group - we have common interests (such as Stranger Things), nicknames for each team member, and we enjoy grokking at meetings! 2023 Goals
- Top 5 autonomous routine in terms of how many points we got (average) at the Buckeye Regional Competition
- Used the Robot simulator in VSCode to test our autonomous commands
- Used a Smart Dashboard to give input to our drive team, such as
- 0 bugs in our code
- More detailed notes for absent members of the team
- Communicate more with other subteams
- Teach other subteams basics of coding
